Sat 17th Jun 2006: Hoovers: To Kyle and back 50031 and 50049 take a trip out to Kyle of Lochalsh and back. Weather was typically grim for my trips to Kyle, but some nice shots were taken. Upon arrival back at Inverness, 50031 was turned via the ground frame in Plt5 - a rather unusual move for a 50!

Mon 17th Apr 2006: MacCookie Tour 2006 - Day 4 The final day of the first 2005 MacCookie Tour. We headed back down south, stopping at Slochd Summit to grad our shots of 67022 on the Caledonian Sleeper, 47703, 47709 and 47712 with the Blue Pullman and then 37417 with 6H03 Mossend to Lairg tanks. We then raced the Blue Pullman and managed to pass it at Blair Atholl which meant that we could get a final shot of it at Birnam & Dunkeld.
|
Sun 16th Apr 2006: MacCookie Tour 2006 - Day 3 47712 (north end) and 47709 (south end) take the Blue Pullman up north. The original plan was to go to Wick and Thurso, but 47709 failed to start which meant a late start and ultimately the run out to Wick and back had to be cancelled.
